The Storyteller Brewery

I started brewing real ales in York, in 2006. Since then we have won a number of awards at the National Craft Brewing Festival. In 2008 we were award first place for Fireside Stout, second place for Wykary and highly commended for 1402. Details about each beer can be found on the beer menu page.

Following the success of the 2008 National Beer Festival, I decided to leave my full time job and open The Storyteller Brewery. In September 2008, I moved the brewery to The Bay Horse Inn at Terrington. The stainless steel one barrel plant now produces three regular beers and a number of specials.

CAMRA have recently awarded The Bay Horse Inn at Terrington as CAMRA Country Pub of the season for Autumn 2009. You can also find us in the Good Beer Guide 2010 !
